Opinion: Kitgwang Generals shouldn’t worry about the few hours Left for Official Announcement of R-RACSS Expiry!

Sep 10, 2021 — The truth is dictating Juba’s political honeymoon as Sunday, the 12th of September, 2021  is ending the R-ARCSS ‘political pretension. It begs questions whether there will be an extension imposed by either side in Juba or not; how long again would it take if extended; who will be entrusted of announcing an official collapse of the Peace Agreement; and, what would it mean to the Revolutionists who have been waiting for the double-dealing to reach its death row? The answers are clearly visible but I will leave it to the individuals to judge by themselves what seems to be a looming political uncertainty. Whichever way it goes, whether it is extended or not, whatever happens after the expiry date should be solely blamed on the mediocre in Juba!

The Kitgwang leaders, on the other hand, know very well that there has never been an ongoing peace implementation in Juba for the past three years. It’s crystal clear in their minds that despite a few hours left on the pretentious implementation of the R-RACSS that nothing has been achieved in the last three years. It shouldn’t be concerning the generals who once had strong-will to guide the former Chairman and his stooges through a “faithful implementation” of the now relapsing peace agreement.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Revolutionary Reorganizational Conference that is called upon by the movement’s military and political leadership by the Chairman and C-In-C of the SPLM/A-IO-General Simon Gatwech Dual has only few things to prioritize whilst times still favors them – disregarding what mends for political solution of the conflicts and prepares for the dry season ‘eventualities. The generals are more convinced that a political solution with a tribally entrenched political system in Juba will always produce nothing else but indirect submission to the same enemy. A failed revolution is worse than a revolution that was never started at all!

Therefore, the generals need to focus on the upcoming conference about the urgent and effective reorganization of the army. The SPLA-IO is badly demoralized to the stage of losing its central command. Virtually, all of the SPLA-IO war was waged locally by tribal warlords. With the new reestablishment and the fact that warfare needs to become more sophisticated, outside support and regional coordination are priorities. The army (SPLA-IO) needs training and equipment for large-scale, conventional warfare in appropriate time against its old enemy.

War always leads to destruction if chosen and therefore I would like to recommend that more robust training should be offered especially to the new SPLA-IO forces.  These training should include the use  of armored and motor-rifle formation; small scale guerrilla groupings; hit-and-run tactics in the sabotage,; reconnaissance; attack planning; arson; use of an  explosive devices; manning artillery such as mortars; knocking out of the major bridges and closing of the major roads; attacking convoys; attacking police stations; laid siege to small rural outposts; shelling attacks on government targets; knocking out of the pipelines and radio stations…………..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
