Opinion: Kitgwang Declaration is both for peace and war, no surrender, no family enrichment projects!

Sep 21, 2021 — The SPLM/A-IO ‘Kitgwang Declaration is for Peace and also for war. That will depend on the basis which Salva Kiir’s government in Juba provides. If Salva Kiir yearning for good Peace, then he and his tribesmen should unconditionally expedite the Security Arrangements to the maximum; Reformation of the Transitional Government; Dissolution and Reintegration of the R-TGoNU; Establishment of an Hybrids Court amongst many others pressing issues. And above all, acceptance of the SPLM-IO ‘Kitgwang reinstituted transactional leadership as the legitimate partner in the Peace implementation.

But, unconditionally surrendering to the enemy’s entrenched genocidal demagogues in Juba; advancement of/or turning of the people’s movement (SPLM-IO into a Family Enrichment Project; and, the abuse of the people ‘movement’s primes objective for radical and fundamental change of the South Sudan political system were not and will never be a part of the Kitgwang Declaration ‘new political scheming.

Therefore, those of you who have that antagonistic attitudes toward the movement’s Kitgwang Declaration and, discrediting the leading Generals as “warmongers” and/or “puppets” who are ending up in Juba, I can argues against your baseless, unpatriotic, and a politically motivated wishfulness in this regard.

Those who misinterprets the original version of the action taken so far do so disregarding the fact that Dr Riek Machar  (the SPLM-IO ‘former Chairman has his own series of drawbacks). The reason for the Kitgwang Declaration was the acknowledgment of Machar’s failure by almost all the movement’s well informed followers. 

Within the SPLM-IO’s leadership, groupism, factionalism, and a deadly nepotism have been developed by former Chairman. Therefore, it created a condition of ill-will within the revolution  and now to the confrontation. As a result of the question on “what’s the possible way out?” Plus many other grievances prompted the movement’s military leadership and its subcategories to replace Dr Riek Machar. 

The leadership of the Kitgwang Declaration knew that, if Salva Kiir Mayardit still holding on presidency in the name of Peace Agreement, South Sudan will continues a country where the government play the roles of the “Robots’ and ” Stooges ” in the hands of Salva Kiir and his tribesmen. You people therefore on your social media fabrication must separate chaff from the grain.

Dr Riek Machar’s Juba base group are the ones who give you news and views that are not true. They tend to distort the truth and deliberately misinform people about Kitgwang and Juba. We have also seen in many countries that a revolutionary movement’s ‘objective ‘communication plays a very important role in the formation of the movement’s public support.

No one for three years have heard the speech of the movement’s former Chairman, no agitation, no demonstration, no bandhs, gheraos, strike, and so many activities of arsonist and violence to keep telling us about the movement’s ongoing Revolutionary insistence.

Neither Dr Riek Machar nor those staying with him in the name of SPLM-IO tell people about the issues standing before the nation/Peace implementation, and/or possible solutions to them. Instead, Dr Riek Machar’s Juba base group has  failed from time to time to even release pamphlets, leaflets, handbills, reports, pictures, posters and so that Inu they are fighting political war.

To fully understand what is really happening within the SPLM-IO movement after replacement, you refer to real politics by taking what the reactions among the SPLM-IO members means in the form of a  “Public opinion in war and peace according to A.I. Lowell”! That you know the relationship between the attitudes that people at different times and levels entertaining towards the existing state of their public affairs. You learn how is the people’s willingness to accept change and their political behaviors. Politically looking into the aforementioned, one would learn that:

There are people who are Reactionaries (those who are both discontented with the things as they are and pessimistic regarding the future; 

There are  people who are Conservatives (those who are contented but not hopeful that change may bring improvement;

There are eho are Liberals (those who are relatively satisfied and also optimistic about the future;

There are also a people who are Radicals (those who are discontented with the status coup and sanguine as to future development..

Those who talks ills against the Kitgwang Declaration are the ones  Draws sustenance from their cheer selfish considerations. They are only enthusiastic of the shrewd leader of the Juba bases IO and do not bother for the considerations of the whole SPLM-IO revolutionary struggles ‘interest.!!!!!!!??????!
