Sep 3, 2021 — It is indeed an open evidence that Angelina Teny is the one confusing the SPLM-IO revolutionary system. With enough evidence, she is the most destructive force standing behind the series of disagreements on how to manage the movement’s political and military activities amongst the SPLM/A-IO leaders. This has been on the right the SPLM-IO movement’s formal inception in the year 2014.Â
If not for Nyakue’s political intrusiveness, all the grievances deemed necessary for the SPLM-IO ‘leadership attention were to be resolved peacefully. And, if Dr Riek Machar could be able and willing to disposed Nyakue’s preferential politics that only favouring blood relatives and, the political puppets to uses them as a spoons whence comes the not for war, but to eats in the R-TGoNU, and listens only to his structured political and military subordinates, more splits would have been averted And, if Grace Mugabe took the advantage of her old man’s very late stage of live, whatever related the legitimacy and popularity of Mugabe, and what the Angelina Teny’s justification? Is her man, Dr Machar becoming very old and therefore unable to execute his duties?
Moreover, Angelina Teny has never served once directly or indirectly in any of the conventional fields related to the military services. She is currently the Defense Minister despite being unfit for this very huge and complete responsibility. What does it entail to the world of the liberal Democratic political system? First of all, there is no form of a political systemic setting that justified the roles of Angelina Teny (Machar’s wife) as logically routine. Yet, we are seeing Angelina Teny acts as if she is the overall commander of the SPLM/A-IO and political decision Maker (giving orders to the army on who to fight with, whence to fight, and the purpose to fight for)! Whilst politically, she is the one deciding on who to be appointed, where, whence to the R-TGoNU through the SPLM-IO ticket.Â
This always made many wonder and found no proper reasons to waste valuable time and morale following a dormant revolutionary objective of Dr Machar. To mention only a few for justification: (1) Chaos followed the formation of the fragile R-TGoNU attributed to Nyakue’s using too much preferential politics (favoured unskilled cadres for appointment to various governmental units.) (2) More recently, the movement’s military confrontation versus Nyakue’s forces and the generals ‘in Maganis. It was clear that, the incidents which started followed the Kitgwang Declaration, (the 7th of August, 2021, and the subsequent occurrences of fighting, including the highly expected preemptive attack on the generals ‘military headquarter by the same Nyakue’s band of nonconformist armed group.Â
Nyakue’s absolute freedom of exploiting Machar’s political inactions similar acts likewise committed by the former Zimbabwe’s President ‘wife-Jenet Mugabe! As Jennet Mugabe costs Mugabe’s presidential seat after 37 years, Angelina Teny has cost Machar’s prestiges and loyalty to the Nuer.Â
Outrageously, whence Dr Riek Machar, using his unlimited political decision making of the SPLM-IO, nominated Angelina Teny for that intrinsic portfolio, almost 100% of the SPLM-IO followers believed that was not acceptable in any of the legal, moral, and political sense. In any form of the explanation and reasoning, the deed actually served as Dr Machar’s first mistake of the post-R Peace Agreement R-ARCSS. And, that Angelina Teny’s unjust appointment discredited Dr Machar’s political wimp that has been perceived as somewhat democratically inspired. Not only Machar’s political image being spoiled, above all, Angelina’s controversial roles in the movement’s decision making on every matter, have caused what followed as a massive defections staged by notables members of the SPLM-IO back to the SPLM-IG led by Dak Duol Bichiok and James Koang Chuol to mentioned only few.
The cause for recent splits (unnecessary fragmentation) that let to the violence deaths of patriot revolutionary young men within among the former Comrades in the revolutions is also a Nyakue’s own political making. As an impact of the Nyakue’s Grace Mugabe “exercise of political powers, the recent Kitgwang Declaration is best known to be instigated by the Angelina Teny with help from a specific group of opportunists surrounded the movement’s former Chairman Dr Riek Machar. The destructive agents are, Angelina Teny, Duop Lham, Dhiling Keak, Yiey Dak, and so.. They are the ones having the knowledge and answer as to why fighting in Meganis?
To make everything worse, at least all those mentioned individuals, most of them are close relatives to Dr Riek Machar in blood. Realistically, they are believed to be the prime factors for an all-out political confusion in the SPLM-IO movement. History will identify and establish their actual deeds. If you don’t feel like concerning these elements, one day, you will!
Near to the conclusion, I wouldn’t dare mention each’s detailed destructive contribution here. I can only mount as others do the primary responsibility and blame the movement’s former Chairman- Dr Riek Machar’s political leadership’s inability. Political ignorance, political negligence, and any phrase may be correct, are the case. Powers to appoint and to also remove any time when necessary are being abused.
