Opinion: Amb. Albino Mathom Ayuel Aboug, the young African hope for Pan African Parliament Presidency

By Marco Mayieb Wundit,

Juba, South Sudan.

July 1, 2022 — A new hope to restore the stature of Pan-African Parliament is solely manifested in young men and women of Africa leadership, by the Africans and for the Africans to address and curb the issues surrounding the development, human rights and good governance in the continent of Africa.

Amb. Albino Mathom Ayuel Aboug ….

South Sudan, a youngest African nation deserves the candidacy and a will to vote in its representative is a step towards recognition of African democracies, all Africans are for Africa!  Our languages shouldn’t be a squash .

Reforms topping the agenda of Africa, fears only the actions to be carried out by those young people who should then be tasked and be  accountable to the people whom they represent, Pan African Parliament honors this so much with votes and hopes of bringing in new energies and “good welcome” to member-States, also South Sudan Parliament in particular will join the world in jubilation the victory of African democracy.

For the African Continent to discard the old cultures ; while switching the narratives, the young men and women of great energies must uplift the continent and create remedies for the progress of Africa and this happens by electing young experienced leader of a hope, Hon. Ambassador Albino Mathom fits the description.  For his parts, he is an inspirational and Iconic, his works shaped Pan African Youth Council activities leading to the reserved and prestigious Post of African Youth Ambassador in Pan African Parliament (PAP), with political growth and experience in diplomacy and mediation of peace initiatives across Africa makes him a best candidate and suitable for the Presidency of Pan African Parliament scheduled for next month earliest July, 3rd / 2022.  It’s much more prudential if Pan African Parliamentarians vote for Amb. Albino Aboug, and ran the Bureau as its fifth President.

Amb. Albino Mathom who sought his education in the United States of America , also holds a major in Global Studies and Political Science at South Dakota State University, USA and University of Nairobi, Kenya with Bachelor of Arts in History, Communication and Political science.

Pan-African Parliament, the institution established on 18th March 2004 with bodies of Plenary, Secretariat and the Bureau whose President is elected represents member-states. The Continental Parliament, PAP assumes many consultative roles among others to the United Nations and African Union on matters of development and security of its member-states in the continent of Africa.

Amb. Albino Aboug, a 43 years South Sudanese vies for the seat of Pan-African Parliament headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa; is a leader characterized by rich experiences after he had held top African diplomatic posts at his earlier age, because of his efforts and recognition in liberation struggles of the then Southern Sudan.

In 2013, Amb. Albino Mathom Ayuel became the first South Sudanese Special Advisor to the President of Republic of Congo, H.E Denis Sassou Ngeusso and subsequently in 2015, Amb. Albino served as a mediator who immensely participated in the Central Africa Republic Peace Initiative which brokered the Peace Agreement in the civil  war-torn state to ensure peace prevails.

Hon. Ambassador Aboug is also a member of South Sudan Parliament and Special Envoy to the President of the Republic of South Sudan, H.E Salva Kiir Mayardit.

Africa ! vote for Amb. Albino Mathom Ayuel Aboug for Pan African Parliament Presidency.
