June 21, 2018(Nyamilepedia) — Buoyed by its an all-time cozy relationship with member states of East African regional bloc, IGAD and the West’s inaction thanks to trillion volumes of rhetoric to tame criminal acts of its impunity atop the armed opposition’s lackluster performance to rein in its military escapades at the battlefield, government has successfully embarked on no-holds-barred expansionist push, while countless cessation of hostilities it has reluctantly been signing ever since the re-invigorated 2015 collapsed peace deal early this year is all but mere act of an appeasement meant to exorcise the festering ghosts of mediators and Troika’s financing institutions in Addis.

Since from 2015 and still counting government has warded off pressure of likely ouster. As previous whirlwind’s wave of violence is currently redirected back to blow the opposition strong holds off their shaky feet. With entire opposition forces increasingly reeling under the weight of logistical nightmare and bereft of threats they need to give it the sleepless night.

Instead, being nothing short of tiny dysfunctional fragments of a divided house which pose less harm to the resurgent regime to rethink and mend its bad old ways.

Notable shortcomings which offer the government some leeway to water down reforms agenda into accommodation of opposition into its ranks and piles through bloated government that gives it an overwhelming representation to shore up and consolidate its much detested status quo.

As the reason informing the currently witnessed relaxing mood on its part to commit to any agreement, while mindful of its own delusion that it is just a matter of time before war weary opposition elements either consider caving into pressure individually or their groupings collectively hang up boots of armed struggle in concealed surrender through usually non-effective peace agreements.

The war mongering strategy it follows religiously, but which heads it unconsciously into the meticulously laid trap of global comparative politics’ experience.

That no genocidal regime on planet earth has ever won against the publicly inspired revolt minus addressing its root causes that lie beneath the flaring inferno.

Whose bad omens of what lies ahead are already seen in indignity and hostility the regime internationally faces, courtesy of state collapse under its helpless watch, with heavy tolls in hundreds of thousands who have perished, 4 of the country’s 12 million souls that voted with feet into the wilderness, 8 million others who are malnourished due to acute food shortages, social fabric, infrastructure and economy which are fatally laid in abysmal ruins.

All these eyesores continue to unravel under its bloody nose while it deceptively revels in consolation of winning a few battles here and there as it temporarily postpones to a later date popular demand for change through flip-flopping tactics.

Counterproductive acts to culminate in people inevitably triumphing over it no matter the high costs and lengthy period they may take.

With likelihood of toppling it and its social life starved orphans to look even more violent and detrimental than that which could be arrived at via peaceful means in friendly state of magnanimity.

A resolve hitherto entrenched in the political psyche of the populace against the beleaguered oligarchs’ infested regime that has turned the country into looting machine of personal profiteering the rest are deprived of belonging due to perpetual marginalization and war induced famine and displacement.

That is now more of a God’s forsaken death triangle completely overrun by marauding cabal of corrupt ethnic-supremacists and a few privileged warlords to whom the country’s independence was wrongfully bequeathed.

Whose only solution to the conflict they have caused is everyone joining them and abiding by their own set of kleptocratic and dictatorial rules and regulations without reference to reforms necessary to right the wrongs for the common good.

That is besides being egocentrically filled up with convoluted belief that they own the country and others don’t matter except helping them do their dirty chores.

Making all attempts to right the wrongs of the past through re-unification agreement between SPLM/A and Anyanya Two in 1987, merger agreement between SPLM/A and SPDF in 2002, Juba declaration between SPLA and SSDF in 2006 and recent ARCSS between the government and opposition forces in 2015 more cosmetic than the publicly desired skin deep and everlasting solution.

Events that only succeeding in sensitizing the masses about failed solutions of surrender to get accommodated as pass forward strategy, far from averting the continuous orgy of violence and resultant economic decadence.

Superficial solutions those in power and particularly the incumbent perpetually uses as the foolproof means to extend an illegal tenancy in power since he only knows too well he can’t win an election organized on the solid rock of democratic reforms agenda.

Disgusting intrigue which only pinpoints to reviving and implementing President Olusegun Obasanjo’s report of 2015 and anything short of that is a sideshow meant to prolong an ever irritating nuisance.
