August 20, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— William Ezekiel Kujo Deng, a former member of SPLM in Opposition, has defected at least twice within the last 40 days.
Ezekiel, who served temporarily as a spokesman of SPLM-IO advance team in Juba from December 2015 defected to Taban Deng Gai and also served temporarily for the last five weeks as spokesman until he defected yesterday to SPLA-IG under Salva Kiir.
Speaking at SPLM General secretariate in Juba on August 18th, 2016, Ezekial said the reason for his defection is because Taban Deang is too ‘tribalistic’.
He cited many allegations along tribal lines to have been done by Taban in less than two months.

During his latest appointment of Ministerial positions, Gai appointed only 1 Chollo as a minister while appointing 5 Nuer as ministers. He did not appoint any Equatorian other than moving his senior cadre, 1st. Lt. Gen. Alfred Lado Gore, to a ministerial position of a lesser influence.
Gai appointed two elderly Nuer politicians as presidential advisors and another Nuer as a deputy speaker of the new national legislative assembly. An appointee for a presidential advisor from Equatoria declined his appointment.
To Ezekiel, who mobilized and showcased a few Chollo members in support of Taban, these appointments amount to tribalism.
In a statement to Al Wattan Arabic newspaper in Juba, Ezekiel also accused Riek of tribalism.
He has declared joining Salva Kiir’s camp in search of greener pastures.
Ezekiel and a few other members of Chollo, who pledged their loyalty to Taban Deng Gai a few days ago, have been isolated and have no position in Chollo politics, according to Agwelek and Fashoda leadership.

What one expected from officials since they are worthless and poor ,they delayed themselves for years waiting for peace to come in order to eat up the state funds. They only live on government money.
That is politicians betrayed South Sudanese people. Both SPLA and SPLA10 are playing this game. So neither Riak nor Kirr will bring peace in South Sudan, all of them must go
Lack of ethical guidelines and discipline from the hierarchy to the foot soldiers. Leaders don’t show by leading with deeds and examples and it trickles down to even the foot soldiers. I think those soldier and individuals politicians that makes it a habit to compromise organizations and put their heads on a chopping block should be chopped without any hesitations…tired of them.
Nobody know how they got married, but they have be controlled to avoid further corruption.
Greener pastures, like in US Dollar green?
Greedy old sad corrupt men. Morally corruption is worse then money corruption.
Kiir tried since 2005, and then as president since 2011. We all know he was completely useless.
No achievement except looting and stealing.
And Lueth angry at UN and NGO’s because they did what Kiir failed to do. Or rather, people from the international community is paying for the healthcare, schooling and food for the starving masses whilst he and his cronies strut around in their fancy western suits and ties, all playing Big Men. Like a theater for themselves as the people since long have realized how utterly incapable and useless the Big Men are.
Irrelevant to the betterment of the country. And Lueth sitting on his high horse cries about regime change, as if this was a bad thing. The people of South Sudan would love a new regime, a regime offering work, schooling, peace, safety, free newspapers, aboslishment of national security, torture, child soldiers, looting, corruption, starvation.
Kiir has had his day, clear for all to see, these are just the death spasms of a already dead system of old fat and incompetent men (and greedy also).
You William and Taban are the same animals who belief in negative leadership. you thinks things will be ok when you joint Taban, while Riek had done more balanced for the interests of south sudanese at the three region. shame on you together with Taban because of your lack of vision…
