Vice Chancellor of Juba University cautions land grabbers against University’s Land.

August 13, 2021—The Vice Chancellor of Juba University, Professor Dr. John Apuruot Akech has warned all dealers whose intention is to grab other people’s lands to distance themselves from the land of Juba University.

In a statement seen by Nyamilepedia, Dr. John Apuruot Akec, Vice Chancellor of Juba University has strongly warned land grabbers against buying or grabbing land belonging to University of Juba.

Prof. Akec through his official Facebook account warned alleged land grabbers to stay away from University’s land and avoid erecting structures on the land fallen under jurisdiction of university.

The top university principal says he and his students will destroy any building erected on university land meanwhile urging everyone to take his warning seriously about the matter.

“Warning to University of Juba’s Land Grabbers. Be assured that my students and I will march through the streets of Juba and will demolish your buildings that you are erecting on our land. Be wise. Be very very wise with your money. Do not say you have not been warned about your potential financial loss,” Prof. Akec warning statement reads.

Prof. John Apuruot Akec is being credited for making a tremendous reform within Juba University in term of administration and academic dimension.

Akec was appointed as Vice Chancellor of the oldest and largest public university in South Sudan in March 2014 and since then the delay of Juba University in term of graduating batches that often happened as subsequent closure of university has never been experienced again during his tenure.
