November 4th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – United States government and the European Union (EU) will cut ties with the government of South Sudan should President Salva Kiir goes on to form a unity government next week, sources have said.

Kiir threatened last week to form the unity government even if main signatories to the agreement such as SPLM-IO leader Dr. Riek Machar were to be excluded.

We are tired of this mouth and cat game and hide and seek from Salva Kiir’s Government toward the oppositions and the world at large,” a EU source said. “all we need this time around is an inclusive Government led by the two principals for peace in this country.”

This is what we are here for to make sure we help them reach into that. But time and time again, we been led down due to lack of political will from Government side and not oppositions, but this time the policy and our approach must be different unlike before and in the past. Things are clear now who is obstacle to peace.”

The source said the world powers “are determined to take action against the Government and its allies who continued obstructing peace in South Sudan.”

Another official from the Trump administration said “Trump have ordered the reduction of USA Embassy’s staff in Juba and his administration is ready to shutdown the Embassy, if Juba move ahead with the new Government without the main partner to Peace, Dr. Machar.”
