Speaking to Nyamilepedia this evening, one of the top state officials said the “disgruntled general” accused the Minister of Finance of thwarting his political deals with the state Governor, Dr. Joseph Nguen Manytuil Wejang.

“The general believes that he is not appointed as the Governor’s advisor on security because of recommendations from Malual. He said Malual thwarted most of the initiatives he and his Bull friends initiated”, the senior state official who concealed his identity for security reason told Nyamilepedia from Juba.

On his part, Gen. Matai believes that he was not appointed as governor’s advisor on Security Affairs due to Tap’s lobbies.

According to the state official, the frustrated General accused Malual of being “the good boy to Nguen” and Malual doesn’t respect him.

In response Malual asks the Gen of what he should do to justify his respect for him, wondering if he should carry the general on his back every time they meet to demonstrate his respect for him.

“Do I need to carry you whenever we meet just to show my respect?” Malual asked Gen Matai,

According to Unity State youth, Mr. Malual Tap Dieu is one of the  respected ministers among the Unity State cabinet; however, the general may not agree with the youth.

Hon Tap recently won a controversial election of his Jagei community in Juba which was disputed by some community members citing lack of legal procedures used during the election.
