June 5th 2018 (Nyamilepedia)Â – South Sudan’s Unity State Community Association in Kenya has sworn-in a new leadership almost three months after they were appointed by a disciplinary committee which withdrew confidence from a previous leadership.
In a press statement extended to the Nyamilepedia on Sunday and signed by the Chairman of the swearing-in committee, the community sworn-in the Chairperson, Female Vice Chairperson, Female Secretary General, Finance and his deputy as well as the Secretary of Information and the vice secretary of information to be appointed by the incoming leadership at a later date.
“This is to inform the public that on 1st June, 2018 we have sworn in a new leadership of Unity State Community Association in Kenya at a colorful ceremony held at Norwich Union, Nairobi. “They were constitutionally appointed in March this year following the Resolution of the 7-member Independent Disciplinary committee which removed from office the previous executive Board after they were found culpable of misconducts which includes: the ‘change of the community name against Article 7 (1) (2) of the Unity State community constitution 2015,” it added.
