UN helicopter crashes in Pagak, all on board safe – official

March 15th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – A United Nations helicopter that was caring around eleven people from Pagak to Malakal has crashed without fatalities reported.

A government official in Pagak told the Nyamilepedia that the incident occurred few kilometers outsite Pagak town following an unsuccessful take-off.

“It happened this after noon around three or four I am not sure.  After it took off,  it crashed outside the town,” he said.

The official who preferred to speak to this website on the condition of anonymity said there were no causalities and all on board were safe saying they are waiting to be airlifted to Malakal on a different flight.

“All of them are find,  thanks God for that and they are waiting to be airlifted to Malakal by a different plane,” he added.
