September 2nd 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Sudan’s newly appointed Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok has delayed the formation of his government as he disagrees with members of the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) over eviction of some nominees, sources have said.
On Sunday, the Sudan Tribune reported that Hamdok, an economist who was a UN official, evicted some FFC nominees from Sudan’s transitional cabinet. One source told the Nyamilepedia that members of the FFC were angered by the eviction.
The FFC source told the Nyamilepedia from the Sudanese capital Khartoum that the rejection of some nominees by the prime minister angered many within the protest groups who believe it is a against the principles and criteria of nomination.
“This is not acceptable and it has angered many of us,” the source said.
“It is also against the criteria on which basis we select nominees,” the source added.
