Sudan Internet shutdown, 7 killed and more than 100 protesters injured.

Khartoum, Sudan

October 26, 2021—The military coup, which has sparked protest across the country of Sudan, has led to network cut-off as the death toll and critical injuries rise on the streets.

At least 7 people have been killed so far and nearly 150 peaceful demonstrators are reportedly injured.

” Large parts of the internet and mobile phone network were cut-off in the immediate aftermath of the coup”, the statement reads in parts.

In a statement seen by Nyamilepedia, the Sudan’s Health Ministry announces that at least 7 peaceful demonstrators were killed and 140 others sustained wounds during the protests that are still continuing.

“Seven protesters had been killed and 140 people wounded after security forces fired on demonstrators”, the statement from health Ministry announced.

According to the statement, the protesters blocked several roads in the country while barricading and burning tyres as crowds chant on “Civilian for Civilian” and accused Gen. al-Burhan of being in the pocket of the country’s Islamists.

According to the eye witnesses in Khartoum, some of the gangs who are armed with stick are beating everyone found on the streets.

The Sudanese people are seemingly refusing to give up on their revolution that ended the 30 years rule of the Sudanese autocratic President Omer Al-Bashir.

Despite the hash encounter they are facing from security apparatus on the streets across the country, the citizens are still adamant on their call for civilian government in the country.

Yesterday, al-Burhan announced that he will form another Transitional government that will include all Sudanese parties and political forces but said the next government will be a care-taker government until free and credible elections are conducted in the country.
