Aug 14, 2021 — The South Sudan United Front/Army under the leadership of Gen. Paul Malong Awan has issued a statement to clarify its command over forces that are reported to be loyal to Gen. Stephen Buay Rolnyang.
Speaking to Nyamilepedia from their headquarters, Maj. Philip Deng Kuol Nguot, the Deputy Military Spokesperson of SSUF/A, said the forces in Western Upper Nile are loyal to them, not to Stephen Buay as alleged.
“The SSUF/A leadership is hereby make it crystal clear to its supporters, media dockets and to the general public at large that its invincible forces in Western Upper, Bentiu, are boldly still loyal to the Chairman and C–IN-C of SSUF/A Gen. Paul Malong Awan Anei, despites the unverified claims that falsely fingure-out their loyalties to Lt. Gen. Stephen Buay Rolnyang who desperately broke-away from SSUF/A and later declared his own militry/political institution over a couple of weeks.” Maj. Philip Deng said.
According to Maj. Philip Deng, the forces being contented in Rubkotna county are under the command of Gen. Gatkuoth and Col. Bol Juay who are loyal to Malong, not Gen. Buay Rolnyang.
“The SSUF/A gallant forces under the command of Gen. Gatkuoth and Col. Bol Juay in Unity State outskirt of Rubkotna County military outpost, is direly stand-still in a supports of SSUF/A under the wisely leadership of Gen. Paul Malong Awan Anei” He said.
“intensively slams the claiming of SSPM/AÂ leadership under desperately command of the renegade so-called Gen. Buay Rolnyang Kai and treat it as a nightmare mobilization-campaigns against our ground camping in Unity State, Bentiu.” He added.
The SSUF/A leadership assures the general public to treat any trending information on this as an “unfounded sources and a baseless allegations forged on our invincible forces, for there is no single evidence that signals their moves!”
“SSUF/A Commands in Western Upper, Bentiu remain boldly in its position towards spearheading these objectives of fetching the just lasting peace in South Sudan.” Deng added.
