August 19, 2020 (Nyamilepedia) – A member of South Sudan People’s Defense Force who killed 2 people at a house of an army general in Juba this morning has been arrested and is in police custody, the police said in a statement this afternoon.

According to several sources, the culprit fired at two security guards at a house of an unnamed army general before fleeing.

“The Police has this morning Arrested the prime suspect who killed two people at Munuki residential area of juba, the suspect who is identified as Sgt. Mark Madeng Goch is an SSPDF personnel, Madeng Goch is now under police custody awaiting Investigation,” the police said in a statement seen by Nyamilepedia.

“The Inspector-General of police Gen Majak Akec Malok convey his condolence message to the family of the deceased as he assured the public that the suspect is under police custody,” the statement added.
