April 11, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– The deputy chairman of SPLM/SPLA (in Opposition), 1st Leiutenant General Alfred Lado Gore is expected to arrive with his delegation in Juba tomorrow afternoon.

According to earlier circulation, Gen. Lado was to arrive on Sunday, April 10 2016, however, his arrival was temporarily delayed.

Speculated today by some media houses quoting William Ezekiel, the former Minister of environment, Gen. Lado’s travel was postponed indifinitately due to lack of transportation, a report Nyamilepedia could not verify.

In response Col. Nyarji Roman, the deputy Spokesman in the office of the First Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, however, confirmed that General Lado will arrive tomorrow afternoon at 12:30pm.

According to Col. Nyarji, Gen. Lado will lead a team of 61 high profile delegates of SPLM/SPLA in Opposition.

“I would like to inform you that The Deputy Chairman and Commander in Chief of the SPLM/SPLA (In Opposition) General Alfred Ladu Gore and the delegation of the 61 members of the Leadership of the SPLM/SPLA (IO) will be arriving Juba tomorrow April 12, 2016 at 12:30 PM.” Nyarji announced through his social media.

The coming of Gen. Lado amid fresh threats and frequent violations of the peace agreement by the army, directly operated by the SPLA-IG Chief of General Staff, Paul Malong Awan, gives hopes for Dr. Riek Machar Teny, the First Vice President,  return as scheduled.

Although perceived with mixed reaction, Machar’s quick return and subsequent formation of a Transformation Government of National Unity is expected to boost the economy and restore the young nation.

South Sudan dived into a deadly civil war just two years after it gained its independent from Sudan. Today, Sudan accommodates more than 191, 000 refugees fleeing conflict in the South.

With the return of SPLM/SPLA(IO) leadership, many refugees and IDPs are expected to return home to begin their new lives.

More investors and foreign diplomats are also expected to return to the country, a speculation that has seen the black market crushing in the last few days as SPLM/SPLA-IO began arriving in Juba.
