March 22, 2021(Nyamilepedia) — The Sudan People Liberation Movement has shared a message of condolence to the family of Cde Hon. Diana Susu Hassen.
Diana Susu Hassan was appointed as the Minister of Finance and Planning in the Central Equatoria State Government last month by President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
“The SPLM Secretariat in Central Equatoria State learned with great shock the news of the passing on of Cde Hon. Diana Susu Hassan, the Minister of Finance and Planning in the Central Equatoria State Government.” Said Cde Latio Paul Abbas, the SPLM Spokesperson for Central Equatoria state.
“Cde Diana Susu is a Daughter of our late SPLM Veteran Mama Mary Kiden Kimbo” read a statement issued by Cde Latio continued.
“On behalf of the Interim Chairman, Cde Emmanuel Adil Anthony, the Secretary Cde, Anna Kaku and the SPLM fraternity in the State and beyond, we are aggrieved and offer our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family,” the statement continued.Â
Cde Hon. Diana Susu Hassen was among the few women who had managed to secure a leadership position as the government was forming States administrations.
