September 17th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – The main armed opposition group led by the country’s former First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny is sending, ‘very soon’ to South Sudan capital Juba for peace dissemination, SPLM-IO diplomat told the Nyamilepedia on Monday.

South Sudan’s President, Salva Kiit, and opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar Teny signed the long awaited peace deal in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa last week to end the five-year old brutal conflict.

In an exclusive interview with the Nyamilepedia on Monday,  the SPLM-IO Country Representative in Sudan, Gatbang Riir said the group will send an advance team to the capital Juba to disseminate peace but did not mentioned when.

“The leadership will send advance team for Peace Dissemination as a gesture of will to implement the agreement,” he told the Nyamilepedia from the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

He said the two parties,  the government and the SPLM-IO will form a unified army within the pre-transitional period and will form the Joint integrated units (JIU).

Another source said Machar will send the advance team very soon to the capital Juba to prepare ground for his return.
