Mr. Puok Both Baluang, the Acting Press Secretary in the office of the First Vice President confirmed to media on Friday.

On 28th March 2022 President Kiir in a press statement ordered the National Security to unveil the report exposing all perpetrators behind the 2013-2016 alleged coup d’ etat.

Speaking to media on Friday, Baluang who is also serving as SPLM (IO) Director for Information and Public Relations said the leadership of the SPLM (IO) will not say anything now regarding declassified report written by Steven Kay but said will make public known their findings when ready in no time.

“.. If you go through that report of Steven Kay you will find that it is the same report labeled against those of Pagan Amum, it has no different but I would like to assure the public that the leadership of the SPLM (IO) has legal committee working on the matter and as soon as possible will come up with their own findings regarding the general situation and genesis of the 2013-2016 wars “, Mr. Baluang said.

” The public will know and every citizen will read our report when ready “, he added.

According to Steven Kay’s eport released early this week by SSNS, the 2013-2016 alleged coup was engineered by Dr. Riek Machar Teny, Taban Deng Gai and other ranking military leaders most of whom are reportedly hailed from Nuer ethnic group leaving questions to public readers whether or not such a report is credible or too bias to believe.
