16, January 2017(Nyamilepedia) — South Sudan’s main opposition leader has appointed a new representative for the opposition group in the United Kingdoms.

In a press release received by Naymiepedia, the SPLM/A-IO chairman, Dr Riek Machar Teny, has appointed Cde. Sisto Olur as the main SPLM-IO representative to the United Kingdoms starting from the date of the release which is 16th January 2017.

Sisto Alur, who is a well known South Sudanese scholar and academician, previously served as deputy representative for the opposition in the United Kingdom.

Sisto replaces Justice Ambago, a UK doctor who was the main oppositions representative in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Ambago is believed to have decided to step aside due to personal reasons, However, Dr Ambago still remains a senior member of the SPLM/A-IO under leadership of Dr Riek Machar.
