October 9th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan government wants the number of states be deal with after the formation of the Reconstituted Transitional Government of National Unity (R-TGoNU) according to a senior government official.

The country’s minister of cabinet affairs Martin Elia Lomoro said last week that the new government expected in November will deal with the dispute on the number of states and their boundaries.

Lomoro further went to say that the British colonial boundaries were not right and that South Sudan didn’t endorse them.

First of all, the boundaries of 1956 were drawn by the British during the colonial rule and they were not accurate,” Lomoro, a outspoken minister of Kiir’s government said.

Secondly, we don’t have time; we need to have an agreement; we need peace for our people and this is something that we can deal with when we form the government,” Lomoro added.
