The IO forces began official cantonment yesterday, however, latest reports from Kwajok alleged that a government faction loyal to President Salva Kiir is planning an attack on the Opposition’s assembly point any time soon.
According to former government supporters in the area, the rebels took the cantonment site after defeating a government troop in the area on Saturday, an allegation that is yet to be independently verified.
Agreed by the two main warring parties last week, the two sides are expected to canton their forces in all regions pursuant to verification by CTSAMM and JMCC.
