October 22nd 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Some South Sudan opposition members currently in Juba on peace mission have been kicked out of hotels over failure by the government to pay outstanding bills, an opposition official said.

The official who stays at Dembesh hotel said he had to go to a friend at South Sudan Hotel to spent the night. He said he and others he didn’t name were denied entry into their hotel rooms as well as services such as food and clean water.

We have been prevented entry into our hotel rooms by the manager who said we won’t do that unless we talk to the NPTC to clear outstanding bills,” the official told the Nyamilepedia on condition of anonymity.

I had to go to a friend’s hotel room at South Sudan hotel to spend the night,” he added.

Early, the Eye Radio reported that opposition leader Joseph Bakasoro had been denied services and had to live the hotel to move into a private accommodation.
