February 21st 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – State authorities in South Sudan’s Eastern Equatoria state announced on Tuesday that a state member of Parliament has passed away after succumbing into Malaria in his village.
Hon. Aziz Atari Aziz who is a SPLM member representing Kiderpo county at the state assembly in Torit die after a short battle with Malaria according to deputy governor of Eastern Equatoria state.
“It has been a difficult moment for us all in the state and in the villages it is not easy to lose a brother like Azziz suddenly,” the deputy governor of Torit state, Dr. Margaret Itto said while addressing mourners in Torit according to the Eye Radio.
Azziz reportedly arrived in Torit twon on Tuesday from his village when he fell ill and died.
“It has shocked us in the state. That is why we are here today for the body of the late honorable,” she added.
