A day before his body was found, a family member issued a memo on social media declaring that Lawrence Clement Wani Konga, known by his friends as Dwanya, went missing for over 24 hours.

” It is now over 24hrs that my brother Dwanya popularly known as El Fateh is missing …. Dwanya is a son Wani Konga & Mama Christina Kapuki. He I is where about is not known. I’m appealing to whoever had information him to contact us the family members on the following numbers” Said a family member.

Although earlier reports indicated that Dwanya was killed by “unknown gunmen”, more reliable sources alleged that he was killed by the Mundari tribesmen behind Jebel Ladu.

“He was killed by fellow Mundari herders behind Jebel Ladu after he strayed away from where their vehicle had a puncture.” A source that has more reliable insights told Nyamilepedia on condition of anonymity.

According to the insiders, the culprits were traced down by the Mundari chiefs and they will be handed over to the police to face justice.

“The culprits have already been identified by the chiefs. The chiefs promised to hand them over to the police as soon as possible.” The source continued.

“This information is from a credible family member whom I met this evening. They were involved in the search since yesterday, till they got his remains this afternoon with gun wounds in his head and chest.” The insider added.
