Nov 22, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— Imatong state has ended a five-days training for sixty Primary school’s Inspectors and Supervisors in Torit capital on Tuesday.
The training was organized by Imatong State Ministry of Education in collaboration with Caritas Switzerland International.
Speaking to Nyamilepedia press over the phone, Mr. Attari Jacob Albino said that the training will help the state ministry to measure and realize a better quality of education and performance.

“This training of primary school’s Inspectors and Supervisors were brought from various primary schools within Torit County base on assessment tools carried,” Jacob said.
He added that Hon. Minister attributes poor performance in primary schools to lack of proper inspection and supervision.
Emmanuel Kenyi, a Team Leader for Caritas Switzerland for Girl’s Education Program in South Sudan says the training came at the right time after schools suffered for long without proper tools to measure performance.
“Participants to make use of the skills in order to improve the quality of education in the Imatong state,” Kenyi said.
James John, a representative from the trainees, says they are happy for getting this new skills and it has empowered them to hand their daily works effectively in various primary schools within the state.
He added that to carrying out this proper inspection in primary schools for better performance they need cooperation from state Education Ministry to support them[inspectors and supervisors] with means of transport and security agents to provide them security for pupils and community.
“On related case, press reported that the National Ministry of Education on Tuesday launched 2017 South Sudan Schools Attendance Monitoring System in Juba.”
Minister Deng Deng Hoc said that the System will be used for monitoring the attendants of teachers and learners in all schools of the country. He describes attendance of learners at school as important and compulsory.
“When a pupil fails to go to school, the parent will be followed up for the child’s absence,” Deng said.
The Minister notes that the school enrolment in 2016 is the highest compared to other years. He expresses gratitude to the government and the people of the United Kingdom for supporting girls.
Michael Lagu, GESS Support Team, reports that over one million pupils have been enrolled in 2016.

What rubbish National Ministry of Education is doing by imposing other languages to schools curriculum, unless those languages should be teach in there respective States or villages, how do you bring Dinka language to land of Madi for example, it those proposed languages are kind of invasion and those who has designed this, these are rubbish, and tribalism minded and we are going to fight on this issue seriously
