According to the latest confidential reports, Amb. Telar asked for permission to be taken to a neighboring country after he was diagnosed with COVID-19 but his requests were turned down.

“A week ago, he was diagnosed with Corona Virus, attempts were made to transport him to Nairobi but the Country’s top office denied him medical referral abroad.” said a senior armed opposition official.

The senior politician, who identified himself as Gen. Bol, said that Telar’s request to be referred to Nairobi was not only denied, he was also denied access to adequate medical care in the country.

“This was so because the Country’s top office cited clearances before he leaves the country. Even after he was screened with the virus, the country’s health facilities refused to provide him adequate medical care.” Said the top SPLM/A-IO official.

“He was not provided with ventilators.”He continued.

The official further claimed that there is fear that Telar could have been poisoned by people close to his arch-rivals.

“However, It is rumored that he was poisoned and the health workers were told to report that he was diagnosed with Corona Virus which in reality was not the case. There is an invisible hand behind his death. He was poisoned.” The official further claimed.

In earlier reports, family members confirmed that late Telar died of COVID-19, which Telar himself announced on his social media page on December 24, 2020.

The former Ambassador to Russia is one of the top officials who died of COVID-19, however, his death came at a time the government has relaxed on imposing COVID-19 measures.

Of late many senior officials including the president have been attending big parties and some of them feel privileged that they even managed to get into such parties.

The big giants of Music in South Sudan and Africa were there Diamond Platinums, Gordon Koang Duoth, Emmanuel Kembe and many more to entertain the thousands of South Sudanese and Africans who turned up in huge numbers to enjoy peace at last in Juba. This is the best way to end 2020 in South Sudan. The same also was the case last night on December 25, 2020 in “Freedom Hall” and I was privileged to attend.” Said Ambassador Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth after attending Diamond Platnumz concert on Christmas Eve.
