September 20th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – A senior member of the South Sudan’s Federal Democratic Party/Army (FDP/A) led by former South Sudan minister of wildlife conservation and tourism, Gabriel Changson Lew Chang, has resigned and accused the FDP leader of personalizing party issues.
The political adviser to the FDP leader, Gen. Philip Stephen Dak announced his intention to withdraw from the party membership in an interview with the Intibaha newspaper on Wednesday.
Stephen said the movement lacks organizational discipline pointing out that there is also absence of party members and leaders to execute decision making.
He was a member of the National Appeal moment before joining the Federal Democratic Party which is member of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance.
The South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA) is a political union of around nine armed and non-armed opposition groups led by the FDP Chairman Changson Lew and it is a part of the peace agreement signed last week in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.
The Nyamilepedia was unable to reach the FDP spokesman for comment after several emails were not replied.
