June 3, 2020 (Nyamilepedia) – A group of armed men led by an alleged son of President Salva Kiir Mayardit has killed at least four people in Sherikat, a neighborhood outside the capital Juba, the Nyamilepedia has learned.

The killing was caused by a dispute over a piece of land in which the man identified as Lual Marine, who is known to be President Salva Kiir’s son, asked a family to vacate the land.

The family refused to comply resulting in the killing this morning.

“This morning, a man called Lual came and opened fire at a family who refused to vacate a land for him. He killed four of the family and has since been no where,” a unnamed source was quoted by South Sudan News Now.

“This man has taken many people’s lands. We have informed the police many times and because he perceived to be Kiir’s son, the authorities have not responded to us,” another resident said.
