President Kiir’s cousin appointed deputy mayor of Juba city

February 13th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan President Kiir’s cousin, Thiik Thiik Mayardiit has been appointed by the Jubek state governor, Augustino Jadalla, as the new deputy Mayor of Juba City Council.

The governor early on Tuesday dismissed Nhial Majak Nhial as the deputy Mayor of Juba town for infrastructure and development without mentioning the reason for dismissal.

Thiik is currently the Chairman of the Awan Chan community association in Juba.
