July 19, 2021 — South Sudan’s President, Salva Kiir Mayardit has today, July 19th, met a delegation of Chadian investors in J1, Juba.
According to a presidential press statement extended to Nyamilepedia, President Kiir and the Chadian investors discussed investment opportunities in the Republic of South Sudan.
Dr. Abdulaziz Osher, Chadian Investor and head of Delegation, applauded President Kiir for managing to restore peace and stability.
“The delegation was headed by Dr. Abdulaziz Osher, an investment advisor and Abdul Rahman Hassan. Dr. Abdulaziz thanked His Excellency President Kiir Mayardit for bringing peace and stability in South Sudan and Sudan”,statement reads.
According to the statement, the meeting was witnessed by Presidential Advisor for Security Affairs, Tut Gatluak Manime and James Wal, Executive Director at the office of the President.
“In attendance were Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs Hon. Tut Gatluak Manime and the Executive Director in the Office of the President Hon. James Deng Wal”, it added.
South Sudan has opened doors to regional and international investors to come and invest in the war-torn nation. In mid of May President Kiir met Saudi Arabia delegation and discussed the issues to do with investments.
