Pre-transitional committee approves 25 million pounds for renovation of FVP’s residence

February 5th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s National Pre-Transitional Committee (N-PTC) have allocated an amount of 25 (around 100,000 USD) millions South Sudanese pounds for renovation of the residence of the First Vice-President Taban Deng Gai.

According to a copy of a document obtained by the Nyamilepedia, the allocation was approved on January 14th 2019 and bears the signature of the NPTC’s head of Administration and Finance unit, Stephen W. Bichiok.

This come at a time when the committee complain that it lack funds to carry out its pre-transitional activities.

It remains unclear why the body tasked to carry out pre-transitional activities is also involved in approving funds for renovation of the FVP’s residence.
