This comes after a group of unemployed young men in Pibor Area issued a warning statement to Non-governmental Organizations on Saturday, giving them 72-hour ultimatum to incorporate their unemployed youth into the allocated 80% for the nationals in local and international organizations or else they security is at their own hands.

In a statement obtained by Nyamilepedia, 78 humanitarian workers including three senior international staff were evacuated to Juba yesterday.

“More than 70 humanitarian workers have been evacuated from Pibor, following a threat over employment issues by the youth in the area. The 78 aid workers, including 3 international staff were airlifted to Juba yesterday, aboard four UN humanitarian helicopters”,the statement reads.

Mr.Jay Adigora Alual, Minister of Information in Greater Pibor, said the government has scheduled a meeting with the disgruntled youth for tomorrow to listen to their grievances.

“The government is set to meet the youth tomorrow, when the Chief Administrator has returned from an official trip in Juba”, Alual told media.

According to Minister Alual, the administrative government will deploy security operatives in the area to prevent the youth from taking laws into their own hands so that no havoc is caused by their actions.
