August 27th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s Minister of Cabinet Affairs Dr. Martin Elia Lomuro has been condemned for walking out of the Greater Equatoria Conference hall in Juba in protest to protocol issues.
Lomuro reportedly left the hall where the National Dialogue committee is conducting the greater Equatoria conference in Juba after the organizers failed to acknowledge seating “protocol” of the attendees.
Organizers reportedly granted seat not based on tittles and positions angering the minister.
In respond to the minister’s walking out, co-chair of the National Dialogue Angelo Beda condemned the protest saying the organizers do not consider individual based on status and class.
“I would like to apologize to Martin Elia –who walked out because he saw that we were not right in the protocol. Tell him that we are from the grassroots,” Beda said as the hall explodes into applause.
“The National Dialogue is about going back to the grassroots to discuss and get their wisdom, and force you elites to implement them. We are calling on the elites to see how we are crying for what they have done –so that they can take our words seriously,” Beda added.
