May 21st 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – A man and his wife were among three people killed by unknown assailants in Wau state on Sunday morning according to Eye witnesses and local authorities.
Quoting one resident, the Eye Radio reported on Sunday that the unknown killers came from a neighboring state which was not identified in the report.
“They came at 4am and found people sleeping, they entered from the north near the hospital, where the military, and the National security officers are not deployed,” Bahr Juok, a local resident was quoted by the Eye Radio as saying.
“They got a man sleeping with his wife, and another woman nearby, and they killed them on the spot,” Juok added.
The same person said the attackers shot at two children of the slain parents wounding them.
“They also shot and wounded two children of the late. One of the wounded child is one month old. The security situation now is calm because since they did this they went ran back, and the security forces are pursuing them,” he said.
