Malong’s rebel group to establish structure for its military wing – spokesman

February 20th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – The opposition South Sudan United Front/Army (SSUF/A) led by the country’s former army chief Gen. Paul Malong Awan said in a statement on Wednesday that it will soon unveil a structure for the group’s military wing.

This week, Malong established a political structure for his movement for the first time since its establishment in April 2018.

“All units of the South Sudan United Front/Army (SSUF/A) are informed that the movement is on course with establishment of its structures,” partly This internal memo is inter alia a redirection of the forces that the military command is being established for necessary action,” said a statement signed by group’s spokesperson Sunday de’John.

“You have to wait paitiently for a period of less than a week or two for effectiveness of the said subject,” he added.

Sunday further said “while the organizational work is being effected, the army should be on high alert of any aggression and act in self-defense accordingly.”
