Malong call Khartoum talks a ploy to ‘neutralize international pressure’ on South Sudan

August 15th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s former army chief Gen. Paul Malong Awan said on Monday that the ongoing South Sudan peace talks are ploy by people he did not name to neutralize the international pressure on South Sudan.

Malong was praising a Troika statement about the ongoing Khartoum peace process whom they said lack guarantees that it will work as desperately needed by the suffering population of the world’s youngest country.

In a statement seen by the Nyamilepedia, former powerful army Chief said the ongoing talks in the Sudanese order valtrex online capital Khartoum are ploy by people he did not name to neutralize the the international pressure against South Sudan government.

“The ongoing Khartoum negotiations are just a process designed to neutralize the sustained international pressure aimed at urging South Sudan leaders to demonstrate commitment to peace and good governance,” Malong said.

Malong said the ongoing talks will not hold water saying Salva Kiir demonstrated his unwillingness to work for peace.

“South Sudan United Front/Army (SSUF/A) is registering her concern that the on-going Khartoum-based negotiations will not hold since Salva Kiir Mayardit had openly portrayed his character of dishonoring agreements,” Malong said in the statement.
