June 10, 2020 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny has formed a committee to investigate the killing of a senior military officer in the country’s Jonglei state.
The incident occurred last week in Juaibor, a village in Fangak, in which Brigadier General Mawich Bol was killed.
The reasons behind his killing remain unknown to Nyamilepedia.
“I am hereby constituting an investigation committee to investigate the Juaibor incident which resulted to the death of Brig. Gen. Mawich Dol (Nyagai),” Machar said in an dated June 8, 2020.
The committee headed by opposition commander Lt. Gen. John Both Teny includes Maj. Gen. Seiko Ochan, Brig. Gen. Gai Turuk  as members and Captain Piew Ruot as the secretary.
