Mabior during press conference announced that he can work with any political party in the country in search of peace but so far he hasn’t specified his political status.

When asked during the press conference whether his National Conversation – South Sudan is a political party, Mabior replied that his party is registered as a local organization but if he decides to turn it into political organization this shouldn’t be seen as a “crime”.

“if you go now, you can find that National Conversation-South Sudan is registered as local organization but in case we decided to change it to political party I think it’s not a crime”, Mabior Garang told Journalists at Juba International Airport.

Mabior said he is not blaming Salva Kiir too much for not implementing the security arrangements due to the fact that the other opposition forces are not speaking up.

“We don’t even blame President Kiir too much for the issue of the security arrangements because we see the other opposition leaders are comfortable with the situation”, he said.

According to Mabior, he would return back for the treatment in Nairobi and come back to fully participate in the peace building but denied defection to the SPLM as some citizens thinks.

” We can work with any political party, SPLM-IO, SPLM, SSOA and every party for the search of peace as National Conversation-South Sudan but we are not making declaration to any side “,Mabior lamented.
