January 14, 2022 —The former spokesperson of the SPLM-IO, who were allied to the First Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, accused unspecified politicians of being “dark forces” and using “innocent people to achieve their political interests.”
Cpt. Mabior Garang, who abandoned Dr. Machar’s camp five months ago said, there are some elements who use children to achieve their political careers.
Mabior believes that such politicians, who use children to fight for their positions, will never see heaven.
“If hundreds of children sacrificed their lives for you -thinking that they are dying for a greater cause- and you end up betraying that cause, God in Heaven will not agree. What do we tell mothers in IDP camps and Refugees camps who do not know what has happened to their children. Many are waiting in vain for their children to return one day”, Mabior said in a statement obtained by Nyamilepedia.
He said they do not know their children were used as cannon fodder for a few greedy politicians to hold token government jobs in Juba.
Mabior said It is a mischief for them to claim they are fighting for the freedom of the very people they have betrayed and left to fend for themselves in subhuman conditions.
“Brothers and sisters, the bitter truth is that they have used the bones of our peoples to build their fake political careers and they will not need people until elections comes around. This will be the best opportunity for our peoples to organize themselves and stop these dark forces in our land! It will be an opportunity to send some unscrupulous politicians home for good”, he emphasized.
According to Mabior, you cannot trust politicians like Riek Machar or his supporters who turn guns against the same people who rescued them from death when they were being persued to DRC in 2016.

How can they be trusted with our national politics? Who will they not try to kill? Their solution to any political difference of opinion is sending children to die in futile war campaigns -even God in Heaven will not agree. The gods of our land will not agree!”, he asserted.
Mabior Garang De Mabior resigned six months after the formation of the Revitalized Transitional Government of National Unity (R-TGONU) citing lack of political will of the peace partners.
In August last year, he endorsed the Kitgwang Declaration but denounced it later in less than a month following Gen. Olony Johnson’s rejection to host political leaders in the movement.
