March 17, 2017(Nyamilepedia) ——- Lt. Gen. Thomas Cirillo, a former deputy Chief of Staff for Logistic in President Salva Kiir’s SPLA faction, who resigned without a bodyguard less than a month ago calls on IGAD and the international community to recognize and support his quest for a political solution to South Sudan crises.

“Your Excellency, NAS is a genuine political force quickly building a broad-based grassroots support structure in South Sudan. NAS seek peace, unity and prosperity for the people of South Sudan, and believe in a genuine and peacefull political process.” Said Lt. Gen. Thomas Cirillo.

Claiming that he has discovered the root cause of South Sudan conflict and a solution to it, Cirillo calls for a re-negotiation of the conflict with his new party included as a stakeholder.

“In this noble pursuit, NAS hopes to be blessed by your recognition and support” Gen. Cirillo said

“The National Salvation Front trusts that you can prevail upon IGAD, the TROIKA and other friends of South Sudan to restart the peace process. The August 2015 ARCISS, has clearly failed, resulting in the current tragedy” Cirillo Continues.

Failure to recognize and include Cirillo’s party in future dialogues to resolve the conflict, the General threatens that his party will put boots on the ground to fight the current regime.

“Nas is ready to actively participart in any new intiative. Without this, NAS might find itself in a situation where it has no other choice but embark on a military campaign to dislodge the regime in Juba” Gen. Cirillo warns.

Although a few other disgruntled politicians and generals have declared allegiance to Lt. Gen. Thomas Cirillo, the group has no enough man power and military might to face the regime.

Lt. Gen. Cirillo sneaked out of the country leaving his guns, bodyguards and all his property behind in Juba, sending a cold signal that Gen. Cirillo could be on a government mission to infiltrate the rebel movements with intent to rejoin and empower the regime of President Salva Kiir.

propaganda will not move us any step. You seem to look at Cirilo at an envious angle. But I don’t think he has any motive of killing any opposition movement, moreover to add them strength.
