June 2, 2020 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s president Salva Kiir Mayardiit has removed the minister in the office of the president Mayiik Ayii Deng who was just appointed four months ago.
The removal was announced in a decree read out on the state run South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC).
In a separate decree, Kiir appointed former foreign minister Nhial Deng Nhial as the new minister in the office of the president.
In yet another decree, Kiir also sacked the deputy Executive Director of Administration and Finance in the office of the president Gabriel Bol Deng.
A replacement was not immediately named.
Mayiik was appointed last February a day he was fired from the same positive after Kiir disolved the transitional government as part of 2018 peace agreement he signed with opposition in Addis Ababa.
He is one of the most trusted faces by the president among the South Sudanese politicians.
