February 15th 2020 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit has relieved governors of the 32 states which he anulled earlier today.

A decree read out on the state-ran South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) said also county commissioners and states legislative assemblies have been dissolved.

Kiir today agreed to an opposition demand in which the country revert back to the ten states from the controversial 32.

The long-awaited Reconstituted Transitional Government of National Unity (R-TGoNU) is expected to be formed next week.

South Sudan descended into a bloody civil war in December 2013 after a party infighting within the ruling Sudan Peoples Liberation Movement (SPLM) sparking an all-out civil war.
