September 11th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit and main armed opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar Teny have resumed their meeting in the Presidential Palace J1 this afternoon, officials inside Machar’s entourage said.
One SPLM-IO official told the Nyamilepedia from Juba that Machar will discuss with President Salva, among other issues, the number and borders of states which has been a contentious issue since the beginning of the revitalization process.
“Dr. Riek and the President will discuss the number and borders of the states which is one of several issues on the table,” the official said from Juba.
“This will be the final meeting between the two principals over the state issue until the formation of the revitalized government,” the official added.
