Kiir leaves Juba for state visit to United Arab Emirates

April 22nd 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan President, Salva Kiir Mayardiit, has left the capital Juba this afternoon heading to the United Arab Emirates’ capital Abu Dhabi, the Presidency announced.

“The President of the Republic, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit and his accompanying delegation left Juba for United Arab Emirates this afternoon,” the Presidency statement did not however give more details such as the reason behind the visit.

He was accompanied by senior government officials including the minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, Nhial Deng Nhial, among others.
