December 4th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit has deployed new ambassadors to three countries to protect the interest of the “people and government” of South Sudan.
The three new ambassadors – according to a statement by the presidency – were “Ambassador Michael Nyang going to the State of Eritrea, Ambassador Dr. Riak Puok going to the Kingdom of Morocco, and Ambassador Dr. Mawien Makol going to Switzerland.”
Speaking to the media after the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Foreign affairs and International Cooperation Deng Dau said, President Salva Kiir wished the newly appointed ambassadors to Morocco, Eritrea and Switzerland/Geneva success on their new assignment.
Kiir further “urged the newly appointed ambassadors to represent South Sudan well in the foreign missions and protect the interest of the people and Government of South Sudan while carrying out their duties.”
