March 15th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – The University of Juba on Wednesday banned all student political activities inside the University premises urging law enforcement agencies to implement the order.

“By this administrative order you are hereby informed that all political activities within the University of luba campuses of Custom, AtlaBara and the Freedom tree have been banned indefinitely until further communication release from the University of luba administration with immediate effect,” said the order signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. John Akech.

“Therefore all persons and security organs concerned are to implement this order,” the order “BANNING OF ALL STUDENT POLITICAL ACTIVITIES UNDER THE FREEDOM TREE AND WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY OF JUBA” the order added.

Recently, the administration of the 5 public universities sent out a circular, informing the students of an increase in the amount they should pay for studies.
