Juba police beats basketball player to death – family

December 2nd 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Police men in South Sudan’s capital Juba have beaten to death a basketball player Juba on Friday night, family sources told the Nyamilepedia this afternoon.

One family source said Tarik Chol who plays for the National Engineers’ Basketball club in Juba was beaten to death by the police who reportedly found him in a street at night.

“Tarik was beaten to death by police. The police said they found him at night in the street and the police said they called him and he didn’t want to response,” the family member who requested anonymity said.

For its part, the Jubek basketball association is calling for a thorough investigation into the gruesome killing of the basketball player
