December 25th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Four people have been killed and one other person injured after a fuel truck collided with a car at an area on the Juba-Nimule highway, a police officer said.
“There was a car incident. Fuel tanker and a Toyota land cruiser collided and four people died and two people are being treated for wounds,” the police office said from Juba.
Traffic accidents have increased in recent years along Juba-Nimule roads. In October, five people died and three others sustained injuries when another truck collided with a Toyota Noah on the busy highway.
The Juba-Nimule Road is a major primary road connecting the capital, Juba to the neighboring countries of Kenya and Uganda.
