April 20th, 2019(Nyamilepedia) — South Sudan’s Jonglei State Minister of Information of the SPLM(IO), Hon Gabriel Chol Garang, extends Easter Greetings to people of Jonglei State and all South Sudanese around the world.
“Easter greetings message, The leadership of the SPLM IO Jonglei State , extends Easter greetings to Jonglei members and to all south Sudanese people and more specially to the members of Christian community both inside the country and around the world.” Hon. Chol told Nyamilepedia.
“On this occasion of celebrating of the most important event in Christian’s calendar, the festival which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.” Hon. Chol continued.
The SPLM-IO official urges South Sudanese people, leaders and ordinary members, to use this occasion of Easter to refresh their spirit, forgive and reconcile among themselves.
“Please let us find spiritual inspiration in the promise of the man of God who called our leaders recently in Vatican .” Hon Chol reiterates.
Hon. Gabrile Chol reminds South Sudanese that the words of Pope Francis connotes repentance, reconciliation and renewal of hearts to embrace peace and tranquility in the country.
“Moreover at this time of resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ , we got the opportunity to once again brace ourselves against that which has impeded equal opportunity and restore equity, Justice, peace and prosperity to our dear land.” Hon. Chol siad.
The SPLM-IO Minister of Information said Easter is a season for renewal and spiritual cleansing. He calls on South Sudanese to use this renewal of faith and positive energy that comes with it to preach peace and call for unity government that will rebuild social fabric and restore tribal diversity.
“My people, it’s time for change, let us embrace peace in our country and to allowed peace process to go in accordance to IGAD resolutions and aspire for a new unity government that bring tribal diversity together in the country.” Hon Gabriel Chol Garang, SPLM-IO Jonglei State Minister of information, concludes.
